The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the powerful spirit that lies click here within/deep inside/at our core.

An Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia can be suffocating weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, fighting for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity ridden anxieties and disappointment. This lingering state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner in your own bed.

Aching for Sweet Oblivion

The clutch of oblivion was a siren's call, a whispered promise of release. To succumb in its embrace was to quell the incessant noise of existence. The world's sharp edges dissolved under the lure of its peace.

To truly long oblivion was to ache for a passing respite from the cruelty of being.
